5 Mental Training Tricks to Use in Muay Thai & Combat Sports

How do you teach yourself to filter the thoughts that lead to action and disempower doubts and insecurities? 

The process is a skill as physical and real as hitting the bag. We often speak of the game being 90% mental, never skipping leg day (which tends to be everyday in Muay Thai), but for some reason we get amnesia and skip the very training that builds the ability to control our mind.

We just moved to Phuket, Thailand a couple of weeks ago and I have been using every mental trick that I can play on myself to stay disciplined in both full time work and training.

The main thing that helps me not to feel overwhelmed is to simply give it my all in the present moment, rather than pondering on about training when working and vice versa.
